Frustration Sets In

I called our Customer Service Rep again yesterday to try and find out what was going on. We’ve had a good stretch of sunny weather yet still no progress apart from a silt fence. According to her all our concreting was scheduled for completion by 21 Jan but this has all been delayed because of the wet weather in January.

We get that. The weather was crap. What is frustrating is that no one is bothering to keep us in the loop. Shoot us an email and say “hey we are hoping to have such and such done this week”, something! Twice now I have been told the concrete manager will call me to let us know what is happening. I’m yet to hear anything. Time to pick up your game Clarendon, your lack of communication so early on in the build is a big worry!

UPDATE!
Just had a call from the Concrete Manager (the message must have actually been passed on this time! We should have piering this afternoon or tomorrow at the latest 🙂
